The BBC sent 'poisoned' chocolates to 'Killing Eve' fans to promote final season
Valentine's stunt by BBC Creative saw influencers doing taste tests on TikTok

Editor's Pick
The BBC is about to drop the fourth and final season of "Killing Eve," and it's wooing its fans with chocolates. And in style true to the show's anti-hero assassin Villanelle, one of the sweets in the box is "poisoned."
Well, not literally poisioned. The "Death by Chocolates" container included five "Sweet Obsession" chocolate truffles, plus one disguised "Sticky End" chocolate containing explosive chili. The show offered 50 free boxes to fans in a Valentine-themed Twitter competition that ended this weekend. It also sent them to TikTok influencers, several of whom posted live tastings of the box.
The show, which debuts Feb. 28 in the U.K., will be accompanied by trailers on the BBC's own channels. Featuring Sandra Oh as Eve and Jodie Comer and assassin Villanelle, it's been a global hit for the BBC, including in the U.S. where the final series will air on BBC America and AMC+ from Feb. 27.
