Don't Compare Your Travel Crisis to a Real Crisis, Say Kayak's Funny New Spots

More Perfectly-Timed Comedy From the Travel Brand

The latest spots from Kayak and Barton F. Graf 9000 feature people who fail to realize that comparing your travel-searching woes to a real-life crisis is just ridiculous. Particularly when there's Kayak.

In the first ad two neighbors meet on the stairs. One is going through painful breakup. His neighbor immediately sympathizes, and compares it to his own "confusing" situation of not knowing which hotel room to choose. The first neighbor's incredulous reaction is sitcom-perfect -- and he points out that you can solve that problem with Kayak anyway. A second spot features an elevator repair guy who rhapsodizes about the joys of Kayak to the people trapped between floors.

Both were directed by O Positive's Jim Jenkins, and like all Kayak's best spots, these are simple, expertly-timed pieces of comedy that neatly get the message across.
