M&Ms is 75 years old, and to celebrate, the chocolate candy brand is running a campaign that centers around a new recording of Sammy Davis Jr's "The Candy Man."
Producer/EDM artist Zedd and singer Aloe Blacc have teamed up to record a modern interpretation of the 1972 hit. "Candyman" is accompanied by a video in which the artists feature alongside some of M&Ms' candy characters from its long-running campaign by BBDO. The video, directed by Swedish directing collective StyleWar and premiered on Monday during the season premiere of The Voice on NBC and the song will be available on iTunes and Spotify.
The campaign will also include a dedicated webpage where fans can remix their own version of the song and share on their social pages.
