Celtics Reimagine Iconic Moments in Social Partnership with Vistaprint

The Boston Celtics partnered with custom-printing brand Vistaprint to highlight some of the biggest, most pivotal plays in franchise history. To do this they needed a creative team that could leverage the iconic palette and brand elements in an ownable and exciting way that could be seamlessly applied to footage that spanned decades. That’s where Newfangled Studios stepped in with the assist, designing and animating over the footage to turn each play into a dynamic expression of emotion and excellence. The Newfangled Studios visual team experimented a lot. Multiple typography treatments and animation techniques were employed to emphasize these key moments ultimately creating a winning series of assets.
