Ikea tried to make chocolate lovers drool over its furniture

Chocolate-toned cushions, decking and more appeared in social posts

We're all tempted by chocolate. But Ikea used Chocolate Day (July 7) this year to promote its furniture too.

A series of posts, by Acne in collaboration with the Ikea Creative Hub, put the retailer's chocolate bars side by side with its chocolate-toned furniture and home goods--like decking, cushions and a wall cabinet. All, of course, are significantly more expensive, yet very complementary to their foodstuff counterpart.

There was cute copy to match--the ad for the cabinet, for instance, reads: "Some chocolates are for eating. Some are for keeping your things in. We have both."
