Amazon Music Taps Into Unlimited Appeal of Cats and Babies
Unsuspecting Stars Show That Life is Better With The Right Tune
Editor's Pick
Amazon is making a name for itself as an advertiser thanks to some memorable creative work. Following on from the singing boxes, Above + Beyond's Christmas campaign for the brand's Music Unlimited platform finds a new take on the winning formula of cats and babies.
The first shows a confused baby gliding past a Christmas tree on a robot vacuum cleaner, while Chamillionaire's "Ridin'" provides the soundtrack.
Next up is Ginger the cat, stranded among a sea of fairy lights. And, as if the animal's expression didn't say it all, Kelis is singing "I hate you so much right now" to dial up the humor.
The ads illustrate Amazon's thought that life is always better when accompanied by the right tune, and finish with the line, "40 million songs. One for every moment." They will run in the U.K. and U.S. over the holiday period.
