Delta Brings Street Art From London, Melbourne and Mexico to L.A. in Instagram Contest
W&K's Fun Outdoor Work Continues
Editor's Pick
Delta and Wieden & Kennedy have doing some fun stuff with murals recently, including the airline's "Dating Wall" in New York that gave people exotic backdrops for their Tinder profiles, and last month's Airport Codes Wall in Brooklyn. The cool outdoor work continues this week with an Instagram contest that brings street art from London, Melbourne and Michoacan, Mexico, to the streets of Los Angeles.
The campaign, by W&K New York, recreates murals from U.K. aerosol artist Shok-1, Mexican graffiti artist and illustrator Nacho Bernal and Australian street artist Steen Jones. The idea is to inspire Angelenos to "Go Find the Original" by flying with Delta and its partners Aeromexico, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia to the cities where the originals are located.
They can also enter InstaTrips, a contest to win a trip to go see the original works of art, by taking a photo of themselves in front of any of the three art walls and posting it to Instagram using #deltainstatripscontest. The contest runs through August 8. Meanwhile, Delta says it will continue to bring more art from around the world to L.A. throughout the year.
