Ad to Premier During NFL Season Opener
Tonight during the NFL season opener between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Activision and Bungie will debut another high-octane spot promoting the launch of its latest title, Destiny: The Taken King.
The game represents the first big expansion on the Destiny universe, and the effects-packed ad depicts a team of Guardians going head to head with the big baddie King Oryx, the Taken King, and his army.
The client once again tapped 72andSunny, go-to production pros Digital Domain, Reset and director Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, Tron) to deliver the story in the lighthearted yet action-packed style Activision ads have come to be known for. There's a driving track to boot, Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog."
