A new ad by Disneyland Paris aims to capture that magical feeling when a child gets to meet its Disney Idol, be it Mickey Mouse or Elsa from "Frozen." Only, in this case, the "child" is a duck who hero-worships Donald Duck.

The spot, by BETC Paris, is the story of an adorable duckling who comes across a discarded Disney cartoon magazine with pictures of Donald. He becomes inspired by and somewhat obsessed by the character, copying his poses and actions in the cartoons. But when his family flies away, he has to leave behind the beloved magazine. After a long journey it turns out, they're going to meet his idol in person at Disney.

Featuring some super-cute CGI by way of 3D studio Unit Images and production company General Pop, the spot is bound to appeal to parents and to younger viewers. It's running throughout Europe.
