Fallon spot for mobile brand gives a new twist to the undead

This three-minute UK spot by Fallon for Telefonica-owned mobile operator Giffgaff uses a popular theme - zombies - but gives it a new twist. Directed by Matthias Hoene through Partizan, it begins in the hackneyed tradition of zombie fare, but ends with the undead becoming helpful and trusted friends to the community. The message? That "different doesn't have to be scary," as Giffgaff is a mobile network run by its members, who are able to participate in the company's business, from customer service to sales to marketing. In return, they get remuneration through a system called "Payback."
