Gamers become their heroes in FIFA 19 ad starring Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe
Energetic spot by Adam&Eve/DDB introduces this year's release including UEFA Champions League

Who are the real football stars? That's hard to keep track of in EA Sports' trailer for FIFA 19, in which ordinary gamers transform into their heroes like Ronaldo, Neymar and French World Cup star Kylian Mbappe while they play.
The energetic and pacey spot, by Adam&Eve/DDB, breaks ahead of the release of the soccer video game on September 28, and for the first time features the UEFA Champions League. Some colorful VFX, via Electric Theatre Collective / Gloria morphs gamers' mugs into those of their chosen players, demonstrating how the game allows players to experience the game as if they were the athletes themselves.
"They all want to meet Neymar...but me, I am Neymar," says one female gamer sitting in her bedroom, with controller in hand. Another player wants to put Ronaldo in center back, and enters an argument about it with Ronaldo himself as the player grills by a poolside.Â
The ad was directed by Brthr via Riff Raff and Passion Pictures and also features Kevin De Bruyne, Paulo Dybala, Pep Guardiola, Steven Gerrard, Alessandro Del Piero, Quavo and Joel Embiid.
