Faerie Planet is a augmented reality app that lets players aged four and over find, friend and collect faeries. Created by th3ng, the mobile division of London-based studio th1ng, for all those who are faerie-obsessed, the app uses the phone's camera to spot 'faerie orbs', little clouds of magic dust left by faeries as they fly around. Players use the virtual net to catch their faerie and bring her inside their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, or they can set her free and find more to collect. Finding and catching faeries becomes more difficult as the game progresses. You can also send messages to friends via Mysties, a misty-screen 'faerie messaging' system.
