Farmers turns bizarre insurance claims into a Dr. Seussian tale
Spot narrated by JK Simmons marks the author's 115th birthday
Editor's Pick
Farmers Insurance is celebrating the 115th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Seuss with a spot that illustrates some unusual insurance claims in the style of the famous children's author.
The ad features reimagined claim stories voiced by JK Simmons as the brand's spokescharacter Professor Burke--such as dogs wrecking your home with water, a goat who rams his own reflection on your car or a giant catcus falling on your house. It ends with the message that “the more that you see, the more that you’ll know.”
Created by RPA, the spot is running on TV, digital video and social placements in the weeks leading up to Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Farmers also created an animated video of "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" that features Simmons narrating the iconic story (see below) and is encouraging teachers to use it for activities.
