Lush : Fighting Animal Testing

Here's a graphic way to show the horrifying truth behind animal product testing. Beauty brand Lush used performance artist Jacqueline Traide to demonstrate exactly what animals go through when testing happens. Over 10 hours, Traide was hauled about on a leash, subjected to tests like force feeding, eye irritancy and injections. The entire thing happened in a store window, and was streamed live on a site where users could also sign a petition against testing. Of course, the stunt has polarized audiences, with some hailing it for finally telling the truth about animal testing, while others have decried it for portraying a victim being brutally assaulted.
