Birmingham, Ala.-based Bottle Rocket Post's new brand identity took shape when the company asked local agency Luckie & Co. to create a Bottle Rocket poster to be displayed at a film festival the post house was sponsoring. "We ended up creating six posters, based on traditional fireworks packaging, for the event," says Luckie CD David Adams. "We wanted people to get excited about Bottle Rocket and ask who they were. We knew we were onto something when all the posters were stolen on the opening day of the festival." The agency went on to design Bottle Rocket's stationery package and website (www.bottlerocketpost.com), and "it just seemed natural to make the posters part of the identity," says Adams. See the PDF for some of the posters as well as stationery and business card applications.
