Nike meets 'Fortnite' in the latest fashion and video game team-up
Sportswear brand gives gamers new kicks and gear with the 'Hangtime Bundle'

Fashion and videogame collaborations are not a new thing. In 2012 characters from “Final Fantasy” helped promote Prada’s menswear collection, and then in 2015, the game’s heroine Lightning posed for Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer collection. Earlier this year, Moschino announced a tie-up with EA Games, which included a Sims-inspired collection from Creative Director Jeremy Scott and Moschino hoodies for Sims characters.
And now, Nike meets “Fortnite.”
The sportswear giant’s Jordan brand and Epic games this week announced the drop of the Hang Time Bundle, which consists of Jordan-themed skins consisting of gear and kicks, in colorways of the NBA's Chicago Bulls (red and black) and the L.A. Lakers (yellow and purple) for the price of 1,800 V-Bucks—about $20 in the real world. There’s also a Jordan branded limited-time game mode, Downtown Drop, featuring a skateboarding theme and developed with gaming creators Team Evolve.
"Fortnite" has previously had brand team-ups with the NFL and movie franchises John Wick and The Avengers.
