Hidden Valley Ranch creates its own home decor range
The Clorox Co. brand is appealing to fans with wallpaper, shower curtains and even a couch
Editor's Pick
Hidden Valley Ranch has some very big fans, including people who slather the stuff on pizza. The Clorox Co. salad dressing brand has tried a VIP club and special events to cater to its superfans – and now it’s gone one better – a line of Hidden Valley Ranch home décor.
The line from maximalist interior, fashion and print designer Dani Dazey is a first-ever ranch-inspired home décor collection that includes wallpaper, shower curtains, bathmats, a sherpa fleece blanket and even a $10,000 couch, all available for purchase at a limited-time shop. For those who want to invest a bit less, a spiral notebook is available for only $18.
Hidden Valley is backing the effort with a video ad spot from Dentsu Creative that shows models relaxing among the designer decor as they eat the dressing with pizza.
Maximalism as a style “perfectly matches the bold flavor of ranch, and for ranch fans there’s no better expression of maximalism than express their love for Hidden Valley Ranch and pizza in a big way,” said a spokeswoman for the brand in a statement.
The goal was to find something modern, artistic and somewhat abstract that people would want in their homes to express their love for the brand.
