Gary Cole reprises his role as 'Office Space' bad boss Bill Lumbergh in a campaign for HipChat, a new free chat service from software company Atlassian. In the ads, Lumbergh is as horrible as ever, making his staffers come in on Labor Day and subjecting them to a mind-numbing presentation about team work and efficiency. The tag reads "Don't work in the past."

The campaign was created out of new San Francisco shop Brass Ideas, founded by agency vet Andrew Clarke, who previously worked at TBWA, Hal Riney and Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. Read more about it on Adage.com.
