H&M has debuted its 2018 holiday campaign, with the first two videos of a six episode campaign set in the fictional "Hotel Mauritz."

The online ads, directed by Prettybird's Matt Piedmont in a campaign created by Adam&Eve/DDB, star "Parks and Recreation" actress Aubrey Plaza, along with model and musician Adonis Bosso, and a host of other catwalkers and influencers.

The first two films channel an '80s vibe, with the first episode seeing Plaza and Bosso checking into the hotel (which is named after H&M's full name, Hennes & Mauritz) and breaking into Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" when no-one comes to answer the bell. In the second film, Plaza and co get ready for a party, shimmying to Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance."

The whole thing has a cozy, retro feel, and makes a great showcase for the retailer's festive fashion collection. Another four episodes will drop over the coming weeks; we're looking forward to more musical nostalgia.
