ITV made a hair dryer out of Piers Morgan's face

British broadcaster ITV turned Piers Morgan's face into a hair dryer this week, as it plugs its flagship morning show "Good Morning Britain," which the former CNN host and newspaper editor now co-presents. Created by agency Uncommon as part of its ongoing brand campaign for ITV, the blow dryer is designed to emphasize the opinionated Morgan's "high voltage ranting and heated debates" (we might add that what he says is often a load of hot air). Uncommon and Evolution VFX sketched, 3D printed and hand painted Morgan's face on to a limited production run of the hair dryers. Each comes with an instruction manual accompanied by sardonic copy explaining the products features such as; "easy-to-press buttons, a short fuse and heat settings from political correctness all the way up to vegan sausage rolls." (the latter, launched by sandwich chain Greggs, recently infuriated Morgan). The dryer also features in print and DOOH featuring Morgan's long-suffering co-presenter Susanna Reid holding the hairdryer at arms length. The images were shot by artist and fashion photographer Miles Aldridge.
