To support its upcoming TV docudrama "Killing Jesus," National Geographic Channel has teamed up with Mullen to launch an interactive experience exploring some of the theories the program examines.
The site looks at the story of Jesus Christ through three perspectives, asking was he the son of God, son of man or a threat to Roman rule?
Site users can don one of three different crowns to view the story from the different perspectives. "Thorns" represents Jesus Christ himself and his disciples while "Headress" features the Jewish high priests and "Laurels" the political perspectives of figures like Pilate and Herod. There are also eight chapters on Jesus' life, each featuring hand-drawn illustrations by Bastien Lecouffe Deharme, plus scrollable panormas and audio. The docudrama airs on March 29, the weekend before Easter.
