A surreal Valentine's Day spot from a Norwegian sex toy retailer, Kondomeriet, tells a story about a man and his great love—a giant hand.

We see the protagonist enjoying romantic walks, cozy nights in and bubble baths with his hand. He even ignores potential dates while he draws pictures of it. But eventually, the "couple" ends up bored, sitting at opposite ends of the sofa. "Every relationship needs a little excitement," the endline reads.

The point is to promote Kondomeriet's sex toys to men, as apparently owning them is still something of a taboo for the male demo.

Directed by the Perlorian Brothers, the ad is by agency Pol (which has recently brought us provocative work for the Norweigan Postal service like the Donald Trump-esque Santa and a new spin on the Virgin Birth). For the first "socially distanced" V-day, the spot is a welcome laugh (and will surely resonate with many).
