Kristen Bell stars in surreal, playful ad for Daniel Ricciardo’s clothing brand, Enchanté

Editor's Pick
Kristen Bell finds herself seeing double in a new short film for Formula 1 racer Daniel Ricciardo’s fashion brand, Enchanté.
Bell appears to be in travel hell at the beginning of the 2:30 spot, as she’s on the phone trying to locate her luggage. But as she sits down in the restaurant of the French hotel where she’s staying, things take a turn for the better—or at least, the more surreal.
The film was concepted and directed by Michael Spiccia through production company Miniac. Ricciardo himself appears in the film as a waiter; his only line, efficiently enough, is the brand’s name.
“When Daniel approached me about making a short film for Enchanté, I was immediately drawn to the idea of merging this sort of banal world with surreal touches that draw on Enchanté’s relaxed but inspired ethos,” said Spiccia. “Collaborating with Miniac and my innovative creative team was a total blast. Miniac was really masterful at facilitating an incredible crew and team and working full-throttle.”
Bell and husband Dax Shepard are huge F1 fans, and fans of Ricciardo in particular—as they explained at length a year ago on one of the final episodes of The Ellen Show.
