Liquid Death and Yeti’s ‘Casket Cooler’ keeps drinks deathly cold
The two brands are auctioning off the one-of-a-kind item, with bids starting at $1,500

Continuing its run of fun collabs, Liquid Death has teamed up with Yeti to create a one-of-a-kind “Casket Cooler” that promises to keep drinks cold ... for eternity.
The 85-lb. cooler is quite the feat of engineering. Measuring 6 feet 11 inches long and with more than 15 cubic feet of space inside, it can hold approximately 378 regular-size cans of Liquid Death (or 252 tall boys)—without ice. It also features a 20-gauge steel exterior casing and Triple Foam ColdCell insulation, as well as Yeti’s patented T-Latch lid locks.
It took two months to create the single Casket Cooler, which will be auctioned off beginning at noon ET today (Aug. 28) at liquiddeath.com/yeti. Bidding will start at $1,500.
It goes without saying that once you’ve used the Casket Cooler as a fancy drinks container at parties throughout your lifetime, it could also serve as your final resting place after death. As we know from prior Yeti campaign, it won’t break down very easily over time, unlike most coffins.

The initiative was led on the Yeti side by Mike Schnëberg and Robert Fraze, the team behind the brand’s “Map the Gaps” and “CraigsLost” campaigns.
“Not only is the Casket Cooler a great extension of the Yeti brand into a new demographic, it’s a fun and memorable statement on the absurdly long time Yeti coolers keep drinks cold. In this case, an eternity,” a Yeti rep told Ad Age.
“The Yeti team was awesome to work with,” said Greg Fass, Liquid Death's VP of marketing. “Both of us had wanted to work together for quite a while, so when the idea of the Casket Cooler came up, we all jumped on it. Beyond being a hilarious collab, Yeti put some of the best and brightest minds in cooler technology on this one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art product so it became a way for each brand to flex and show off what we’re best at.”
The Casket Cooler follows Liquid Death collabs with other brands, including Van Leeuwen Ice Cream (on hot fudge sundae sparkling water) and e.l.f. (on a Corpse Paint makeup collection).
