Advertising met Whose Line Is It Anyway? last night in what’s being claimed to be the UK’s first ever live, improvised ad. The three minute spot, for Kabuto Noodles, aired on Comedy Central yesterday.

Kabuto Noodles partnered with Viacom Media to secure ad space on Comedy Central to air the live improvised ad, working with 18 Feet & Rising on the creative idea. Four comedians from improv group Mischief Theatre performed several comedy skits for the brand using the only pots of noodles as props, while comedian Rob Carter hosted the proceedings.

The live ad is the first marketing activity for Kabuto which launched in 2011. It will be followed up by 30 second cut downs of the live skits.
