Lufthansa’s fancy new cabin gets an eye-catching spot to match
Serviceplan’s Apple-like film shows off the Allegris experience, with a cameo from Dirk Nowitzki
Editor's Pick
Flying sure looks luxurious—whether you’re working or relaxing—in Serviceplan’s new brand film for Lufthansa, showing off the airline’s much-anticipated Allegris cabin upgrades.
London-based Nono & Rodrigo directed the eye-catching film, which explores the Allegris experience from the passenger’s point of view—for typical travelers all the way to NBA star Dirk Nowitzki, who enjoys a vivid basketball dream while snoozing in his 7-foot-long bed.

“We wanted to introduce Allegris in a way we haven’t seen any airline do before,” Till Diestel, chief creative officer at Serviceplan Germany, told Ad Age. “At the start of the creative process, we asked ourselves, ‘How would Apple introduce airline seats and cabins?’ Fast, modern camera moves, fun stories, paired with great music and sound design, and a cast that could bring it all to life. And by the way—shooting a commercial inside an airplane isn’t an easy task.”
The campaign includes CTV (Peacock, Hulu), social media (Facebook, Instagram), custom partnerships (Vox, Conde Nast), audio and prominent out-of-home placements in San Francisco and Chicago. French photographer Alice Moitié shot the still imagery, which you can see below.
