Applebee's : Lunch Decoy

An inflated excuse to go to Applebee's.

Editor's Pick

Crispin Porter + Bogusky cooked up this devilish scheme to get the working set to spend their lunch breaks not at their desks, but at their local Applebee's. The agency created these "Lunch Decoys," inflatable dolls that probably look nothing like you, that you can place in front of your computer while you slip out for a real sit-down meal at the food joint. Yes, they're for real, and available for $6.99 a pop on Amazon.com. The video teasing the blow-ups is also refreshingly different for the brand, and probably the funniest thing we've seen featuring the restaurant since this.
