This holiday ad is an epic battle of one upmanship

We've seen a number of fairly serious ads this holiday season, but here's one that's just pure entertainment. This year's spot from Swiss retailer Manor (which has previously run some cute animated fare) is a battle of one upmanship among gifts between a couple. Set to the classic musical number "Anything you can do," it starts with the man offering his girlfriend a stuffed cat, but she trumps him with a real kitten. The gift-off then escalates, getting more and more ridiculous with a gold nugget, an alien and even the Mona Lisa featuring among the gifts. However, what beats them all is a wrapped gift from Manor (although frankly, the mind boggles as to what could be in that. Jeff Bezos' fortune? The key's to Elon Musk's Tesla?)
