Mariah Carey is the latest unlikely celebrity to stay in a Hostelworld hostel, following previous spots for the accommodation platform that featured Charlie Sheen and 50 Cent -- and she's not afraid to poke fun at her diva image.

The new online film, by Lucky Generals, sees Carey and her entourage pull up in their limo at a hostel in Barcelona, to the amazement of the staff. It's the result of a booking error by her team, but once she sees the hip rooms, clean toilets and finds out there's a cocktail bar, she takes to hostel life -- even to fellow guests wandering naked around the elevator. Directed by Nick Ball of Blink, the spot ends with Carey belting out her hit "Fantasy" in the bar, helped by an electric fan for a wind machine.
