Kids generally go to McDonald's for the burgers, not the carrot sticks. But a new print campaign by the company from Spain sets out to show that they can get a taste for fruit and vegetables there, too.
A set of print ads by TBWA/Spain, promoting the fact that Happy Meals now come with a choice of seasonal fruit and vegetables, shows kids' mouths decorated with face paint depicting carnivorous animals, but chomping on items such carrots, pineapple and cherry tomatoes. "We teach your little carnivores to enjoy fruit," says the copy.
It's an honest approach by the brand, and makes for some fun imagery too.
