Description

Sending your kids off to college for the first time is a big deal. Most parents do everything they can to set them up for success on this first step into adulthood. DUDE Wipes and Curiosity wanted to reassure parents their freshmen kids would do just fine — at least in the hygiene department. How’d we do it? By dishing wipes and life lessons from their custom Mini Cooper or “Mini Pooper” as we like to call it during the first week of class.

The challenge

Throne away from home.
Prove that DUDE Wipes has the backs — and butts — of anxious college freshmen by showing up for them where mom can’t.

The strategy

Ridin' dirty.
Let’s face it: When it comes to personal hygiene, not all freshmen are straight-A students. Good thing DUDE Wipes rolled up to steer them (and their rears) in the right direction. With the help of OutCold, the DUDE Wipes Mini Pooper hit the streets. The vehicle streaked across Illinois, Dayton, Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State University campuses — schooling students on how to get the best clean, pants down. Outfitted with dumptastic decals and a turd on top, the sleek ride commanded attention, provided a one-of-a-kind sampling opportunity, and properly equipped college freshmen for their first pre-exam poop.

The results

Small but mighty
When it comes to training freshmen that DUDE Wipes get you the best clean, pants down — somebody’s gotta do it. Thankfully, the Mini Pooper was down for the challenge. Meeting both die-hard dudes and future fans where they’re at – the Mini Pooper was able to distribute over 22,000 wipes across every pit spot.
