In a new spot from Subway in the U.K., a man spies his alter ego in the sandwich restaurant and gets glimpse of another life in which he's more adventurous with his lunch than boring ham and cheese.

The ad, humorously directed by Max Sherman at Blink for McCann London, sees the timid protagonist transformed into a "lunchtime lion," striding into the Subway and ordering a BBQ Beef Burnt Ends Sub in a loud and commanding voice (which he quickly lowers to his more subdued one.) It was filmed in a real Subway restaurant in Essex and the camapign is running till May 23 across TV, print, OOH, digital and radio.
