Arby's is promoting its new Traditional Greek Gyro with a spot set to Bonnie Tyler's '80s hit "Holding Out for a Hero."

The ad, by Fallon, substitutes the word "gyro" for "hero," and perfectly captures the feeling of waiting for a gyro to cook as the camera just sits on the big hunk of meat for an extended period of time. In 2014, Arby's became the largest restaurant chain ever to offer the Mediterranean sandwich known around the world as the gyro, and now sells 27 million of them a year. The Traditional Greek Gyro features a blend of beef, lamb and spices on flatbread with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki sauce and Greek seasoning.

It's a fun spot -- but it does remind us distinctly of this recent spot from U.K. takeout brand Just Eat, in which the subject is a balti (curry). Could it be a coincidence?
