Nissan's 'Ode to Empty Roads' encourages you not to drive

Nissan is encouraging drivers to stay home and leave the roads empty in a new film for the Middle East market. The spot, by TBWA/RAAD in Dubai, showcases deserted highways, devoid of cars, which look eerily beautiful in their emptiness. "We're going to miss you...we are inseparable, you and us," says the narrator, before reminding us that "it's a sacrifice we are going to have to make today if we are to be together tomorrow." The ad then depicts a scene of car parked in the driveway of a luxurious home as the gates close in front of it. Finally, the message "Stay home, stay safe" appears as a man surveys the city from a rooftop at night.
