FCB Brazil Conceives Another Out of the Box Marketing Idea for Nivea Sunblock

FCB Brazil, the agency behind the Cannes Lions Mobile Grand Prix-winning Nivea sun block ad that turned a newspaper ad into a digital wristband which allowed parents to track their kids on the beach, came up with another fun, but more analog idea for the brand: dolls.

In order to teach the little ones about the importance of using UV protection in the summer months, the agency created these simple boy and girl figures whose skin would turn red when overexposed to the sun, and only if they were covered with Nivea's protectant would they remain their normal color. The point was to make applying sun block fun for the kiddies--and create a diversion so that parents could slather their babes with the stuff too.
