No Apologies: This Campaign by the BBC's Youth Channel Celebrates Difference
Posters Promote 'Sorry Not Sorry' Season

The BBC's online youth channel, BBC Three, is promoting a new season called "Sorry Not Sorry" by inviting unapologetic viewers to express their own unique differences in a campaign by Mother Design and BBC Creative.
The TV season explores issues affecting 16-34 year olds, offering them a voice and celebrating their differences. Shows in the series include "Murdered for Being Different," "Becoming a Trans Man" and "Don't Deport Me, I'm British."
Unapologetic posters by Mother Design declare "Sorry Not Sorry" for a variety of attributes --" "For Being a Trans Man," "For Being Me," "For the Way I Look "-- next to pictures of the diverse subjects.
Viewers can access the artwork online and create and share their own versions of the posters, using images and words to communicate their message and start conversations. Contributions so far include, "I'm queer" and "I Don't Want Kids."
Posters will be broadcast on the BBC's own channels and across social media, as well as covering targeted outdoor media, to encourage participation.
Dan Broadwood, strategy director at Mother Design (which launched in February) said in a statement, "The campaign was designed to enable the contributors and audience at the show's heart to share their unique stories with the world. It's a loud, proud and personal expression of identity in today's culture."
The BBC's children's channel, CBeebies, has just launched a similarly inclusive campaign championing diversity in the playground.
