Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 was pushed back for months due to the pandemic, but “No Time to Die” is finally slated for release in November. Joining James Bond is a new, licensed-to-kill “00” agent, played by Lashana Lynch.

In a spot for HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, Lynch “preprises” her role two months before theatergoers can see her. The very prepared Agent Nomi tracks her quarry to a clandestine rendezvous on a barren shoreline. In true Bond fashion, she uses high-tech gadgets to communicate with headquarters.

But rather than single-use devices of the kind Q dreams up in his lab, all she needs is her Nokia smartphone, which can search the surveillance photos she’s taken, plot a course to a drop and securely upload covert data, all without breaking her cover. Not that she’ll let that keep her from a cinematic confrontation.

The spot from Grey London is the full version of the teaser originally released back in March (when the film was set to premiere just a month later). Amma Asante via Pulse Films directed the film, which is part of HMD Global’s largest marketing campaign to date. Nokia is the official phone of the film, the 25th in the Bond franchise.
