Wallpaper recently tapped illustrator Noma Bar to create this fantastic artwork for eight different local covers of its global design issue. In reverse trompe l'oleil fashion, Bar creates what appear to be two-dimensional images out of 3D room sets--even incorporating each setting's sparse accessories into the illusion. The images are based on a particular country-the only one where that special edition is available. The covers are also available as limited edition posters, for sale on Wallpaper's website.
Israeli artist Bar, who's repped out of Dutch Uncle, likes to make clever use of negative space and has applied his talents to other impressive campaigns for IBM and ITV1.
