Ocean Spray made a 10-hour jelly yule log video

As part of its holiday campaign, Ocean Spray has launched today a 10-hour-long yule log video. Only this is a slightly different kind of yule log; it's made of jelly. The video depicts a relaxing fireplace along with three wiggling Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce logs in front of the hearth. The cranberry sauce logs can be heard saying “jiggle,” and “wiggle” in animated voices. The yule log video, which was created in partnership with brand agency Orchard, will run on Ocean Spray’s YouTube channel and as paid pre-roll placements. Looped yule log videos have been popular around the holiday season over the past few years, with many brands releasing their own seasonal campaigns, such as Old Spice’s hour-long yule log with actor Terry Crews. The cranberry cooperative launched its “Power Your Holidays” campaign in October with a TV spot featuring a family compelled by cranberry jelly to wiggle to a dance track, “Jelly Is Here.” The song was created for the spot by Mack Goudy Jr. of electronic dance group The Detroit Grand Pubahs and is part of the campaign’s social extension, #JiggleWithUs—a TikTok duet with the jiggling Ocean Spray cranberry sauce set to the same beat. Dancer and influencer Jojo Siwa took part in the trend on TikTok. The “Power Your Holidays” campaign has a website featuring the one-minute spot, recipes, and facts about cranberries. “Some may think Thanksgiving is cranberry sauce’s big moment, but we’re here to say that cranberry jelly is a classic staple that belongs at the table in all the holidays. We're excited to extend our campaign with a jiggly fireplace scene that adds to the fun,” said Dan Hamilton, head of marketing, Center of Excellence, at Ocean Spray Cranberries. “It’s also just a great feeling to jiggle, and we can all use as many good cranberry feelings as possible in the last month of the year.”
