As Brexit's official date looms ever closer (although it's not clear whether or not it's actually happening), Paddy Power is coming to the aid of people who can't stand hearing another thing about it--or alternatively, just want to hide till it's all over.

The gambling organization has been asking account holders to compete for a chance to stay in a specially branded "Brexit Bunker" in the middle of the sea (it's actually a fort off the Isle of Wight) for the nights of March 28 and 29. A promotional campaign created by agency Officer & Gentleman is fronted by French soccer legend and actor Eric Cantona, who explains some of the finer points of Brexit in a humorous video, seen here, and in various "how to" tutorials running on social media. Axel Laubscher at Radical Media directs the spots.

People with Paddy Power accounts can apply either via email or on social media by tagging @paddypower and #brexitbunker and posting words or a video explaining why they deserve a break from Brexit (will Theresa May apply, we wonder?). Meanwhile in the bunker, the winner will get a Brexit Bunker gift basket containing "Brexit survival kit and Paddy Power goodies." And guess what? Even if Brexit doesn't happen this Friday, they still get to stay there. That's about the best guarantee we've heard Brexit-wise this week.
