A little girl in Portugal dreams of a snowman in this holiday ad—and her parents go to incredible lengths to provide one, though that's nigh on impossible in the country's temperate climes.

The spot, by Havas Lisbon, certainly keeps you guessing because the little girl in question isn't easily pleased as her super-creative parents try to satisfy her snowman fantasy in different ways. They try building one out of insulation foam, they lovingly sew an elaborate costume for the mom to dress up in, they turn their garage into an ice sculpture workshop.

However, the child, in a great wordless acting performance, looks more and more unimpressed by each attempt. We won't give away the final reveal (except to say that the campaign comes from Portuguese telecom provider Nos, which now offers 5G mobile technology).

The film, directed by Marco Martins from Ministério Filmes, is running in Portugal only.
