Full disclosure: we're big fans of GoldieBlox and the indie toy's premise, which is to encourage young girls to develop an interest and skills in building and engineering. So it's delightful that the brand has turned out this spot that is pretty stand out for the category, Set to a cover of the Beastie Boys' "Girls," we see a crew of budding young builders create a Rube Goldberg to rival Honda Cog and OK Go's music video machine, but made entirely of toys. It helps that GoldieBlox tapped one of the latter's real creators to help with behind-the-scenes construction.

Come February, it looks like GoldieBlox may just have a shot on a main stage too, and is one of the brand's that's vying for a spot on the Super Bowl, via Intuit's campaign promising to give one small business air time during the big game
