Australia Day, on Jan. 26, is when all Australians traditionally invite a bunch of mates round for a BBQ. To celebrate this year, this fun ad from the country's Meat and Livestock Association, by Sydney agency The Monkeys, brings together Australian legends from history -- including Captain Cook and Ned Kelly -- and imagines they're all invited to throw some prawns on the "barbie."

Legendary cricket commentator Richie Benaud is hosting the BBQ and invites the Aussie legends (who also include cricketer Don Bradman, businesswoman Ita Buttrose and media personality Sam Kekovich) by phone in typically laid-back Australian style. However, Billy Birmingham, a man who's made a name for himself impersonating Mr. Benaud, doesn't get a call.

The ad was directed by Australian director Tom Noakes, who was a finalist in last year's Doritos "Crash The Super Bowl" competition.
