Dapper African Gents Are The Stars Of Guinness' Latest Work
Spot Will Be Accompanied By A Feature Documentary

Guinness travels to Brazzaville in the Republic of Congo for its latest TV campaign, a stylish film from AMV.BBDO and MJZ's Nicolai Fuglsig which showcases a dapper group of real-life African gents called The Sapeurs. As with previous spot, Basketball, by sister agency BBDO New York, the emphasis is on using real people to inspire -- the Sapeurs, a "society of elegant persons of the Congo", wear incredible suits in stark contrast to their surroundings. The spot features the soundtrack "What Makes a Good Man" by The Heavy. The brand is also releasing a five-minute feature documentary directed by Hector Mediavilla on the Sapeurs and their ethos, which can be viewed at on YouTube and at www.guinness.com.
