Remember concerts? What about going out for dinner and dessert?
With Valentine’s Day coming as the pandemic continues, Shake Shack and DoorDash have teamed up with Boyz II Men for a “Love Delivered” promotion.
The '90s hit boy band, known for their emotional love songs, will perform Feb. 14 in a concert served up on Twitch and other platforms. To top it off, there’s a specialty shake, Berryz II Men for sale at the burger restaurant, with delivery available via DoorDash.
A teaser for the “Love Delivered” promotion even includes the R&B group singing the line “I’ll shake love to you.” Really.
“For years we’ve been known as the ‘Special Day’ group, and Valentine's Day is one of those Special Days,” the band's Nathan Morris said in a statement.
He and his bandmates Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris are set to sing hits including “On Bended Knee,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and “Water Runs Dry” during the concert. The free show will be streamed at 8 p.m. ET on Twitch, and on Facebook Live and Instagram channels for DoorDash and Shake Shack. T
The “Berryz II Men” shake, which will be available through Feb. 14, is a strawberry shake topped with fudge sauce, whipped cream and chocolate cookie crumbles. And select Shake Shack orders placed via DoorDash in New York and Philadelphia this week will come with a “Love Delivered” kit including a “Berryz II Men” scented candle, concert t-shirt and lanyard.
