What if you could see sound waves emanating from your speaker? Sonos, a wireless audio product company, envisions this in a new commercial, “Feel Sound All Around.”

The spot promotes the brand’s new Era 300 wireless speaker, unveiled last Tuesday, along with the Era 100 wireless speaker. Both products are set to release on March 28. The ad shows a woman in her living room using a Sonos Era 300. She dances around wildly, surrounded by the spatial audio from her speaker—depicted as silky multicolour visuals and pulsating animation.

“In an age of constant background noise, quality listening matters more than ever. Our vision is to make listening an experience that is charged with feeling, and help our customers feel joy and vitality through their favorite music and audio content," said Sonos CEO Patrick Spence.

72andSunny Los Angeles created the spot. It’s the agency’s first creative effort for Sonos since being named agency of record last November. “Feel Sound All Around” was directed by Quentin Deronzier, through film production company La PAC, and soundtracked to “Fleez” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. 

"Just like the shift from mono to stereo, spatial audio is the next evolution in listening—creating a sound experience that wraps you in music,” said Giles Martin, VP of sound experience at Sonos.
