While rivals such as John Lewis are encouraging people to treat their loved ones with generous gifts for Christmas, upscale British retailer Harvey Nichols has taken a different tack. Agency adam&eve/DDB has created an actual range of "ultra low net worth" gifts for the retailer, backed by a TV campaign that says "spend it on yourself instead". A plastic doorstop, Christmas lunch in a tin and even a bunch of gravel are included in the "Sorry, I Spent It On Myself" Collection, which will be available in store and on the Harvey Nichols website from November 27th.
