Disney now provides the fuel to get moms and daughters to exercise together

Campaign for This Girl Can by FCB Inferno includes routines from 'Moana' and 'The Little Mermaid'

Sport England's "This Girl Can" campaign, known for its award-winning ads designed to get more women to exercise, has teamed up with Disney to now get young girls into the mix. 

A series of web films by agency FCB Inferno show real-life moms and daughters dancing to specially created dance routines set to music from Disney films such as "Moana," "The Little Mermaid," The Jungle Book, and the new Disney Channel Original Movie, "Descendants 3.”

Five three-minute films were created by FCB Inferno and produced by Fuel Content. They were made as a result of This Girl Can putting out a Facebook post inviting families who love to dance together to send in videos of themselves. As a result, the team was able to cast real families from the This Girl Can community to take part in the films.

Disney U.K.’s involvement, which forms part of its wider Healthy Living initiative, represents the first time that This Girl Can has worked with a brand partner to create content. It marks the first of several partnerships launching over the next year to create new opportunities for women to get active by embedding its messaging into bigger brands and platforms.
