A Cheetos Pop-Up Restaurant in NYC Will Serve Meatballs, Tacos and More

Celebrity Chef Anne Burrell Devised Recipes for 'The Spotted Cheetah'

Fans of Cheetos will see their culinary dreams come true next week in New York City, when the Frito-Lay snack food brand will open a pop-up restaurant, "The Spotted Cheetah," as part of New York restaurant week.

The restaurant, located at 211 W. Broadway in Manhattan, will be open to the public by reservation only Aug. 15-17 (visit the website to join the waitlist). It will feature Cheetos in a range of eleven recipes devised by celebrity chef Anne Burrell. Dishes, priced between $8 and $22, will include Cheetos Meatballs, Spicy Cheetos Tacos, Cheetos Sweetos Crusted Cheesecake and Cheetos Sweetos Sweet and Salty Cookies. All the recipes will also be available in a free digital recipe book. Frito-Lay's consumer engagement agency The Marketing Arm conceived the project, which was apparently inspired by people posting their own Cheetos food creations on social media, together with PR agency Ketchum.

"As a long-time Cheetos fan, I'm thrilled to join forces with a snack brand that is truly an iconic American staple," says Burrell in a statement. "I had so much fun curating this specially crafted, one-of-a-kind menu for the first Cheetos restaurant -- I can't wait to see guests' reactions!"
