In the latest installment of its ongoing "It's What You Do" campaign, Geico offers a thrilling chase scene that gets interrupted in a most unexpected -- but entirely relatable -- way. Our protagonist, a handsome spy, is attempting an escape from bad guys who are in hot pursuit on foot and by helicopter. As he reaches the rooftop of a skyscraper, his cellphone rings.
Cut to a shot of an older lady paging through a magazine while she speaks into her home phone: "Well, the squirrels are back in the attic. Your dad won't call an exterminator."
"Mom?," our hero says, just before kickboxing his assailants. "Can I call you back?"
Cue the voiceover: "If you're a mom, you call at the worst time. It's what you do. If you want to save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to GEICO. It's what you do."
